Pepe Bayard Foundation (PBF) is a non-profit Gift Recipient charity dedicated to bringing innovations in learning to underprivileged Haitian communities with the goal of building healthy communities and reducing illiteracy.

As Pepe Bayard advocates in his song “Jou ouve/Leve Leve Leve” Education is the key to the best of dreams. Guided by Pepe Bayard’s belief in quality education, coupled with his passion for music, and also, recognizing that music education is essential to a child’s development and learning process, our vision includes engaging children in learning through music and other related art forms.

PBF aims to promote music education for Haitian youths to help them achieve their greatest potential. At PBF we believe that by targeting elementary and high school students and giving those students the opportunities and benefits derived from singing, and playing music, their lives will be enriched in innumerable ways.

The focus of the PBF is music and other related arts with a particular interest in programs that develop the use of music as a means of improving general education outcomes, that identify and promote young talent, and that support school choirs and bands.

PBF is currently seeking philanthropic, corporate, government, public, and private sponsorships in Haiti and abroad to offer music education programs in Haiti.

OBJECTIVE:
The Pepe Bayard Foundation will support schools and elementary music education programs in Haiti. We will seek funding to support music education for elementary education students. We will award scholarships as directed by the board of trustees.
