Hi I am an African American woman married to a Haitian man for 14 years.
He is a very tall, dark and handsome man. At first many Haitian women would give me dirty looks, and he takes me everywhere he goes even now 16 years into our relationship.
I am a very attractive Black woman, and could not understand why women would give me hateful stares.
His family even gave us a nickname of a haitian couple whom you would never see one without the other.
We enjoy each other's company, and LOVE to be together.
Many Haitian women ask always how is he?
Is he a good man?
Because they say their men are not...
but I cannot complain.
He is a great provider, he takes care of himself physically, spiritually, and is gorgeous! What more could a woman ask for?

we treat each other with respect and most of all we are friends! Some were also shocked that my husband wears his wedding ring daily, I was shocked about that question, but I guess their husbands do not??
