This is about Halouba Botanica, if you are in Miami, and looking for some place to remind you of your old root, about vodoo/spirits, please stop by at Halouba and see Papa Paul 305-751-7485, it is located in Little Haiti on 54th street.
They have everything that you could think of from Haiti.
I am from Boston and was visiting, I was suprised and very impressed.

Voodoo only does evil things because if in fact it (voodoo)was good and positive, Haiti and Africa would be the richest countries in the world. They are the most cursed countries in the world in every sense of the word.those so called spirits are doing nothing more for those people but leading them straight to the fire pit and until they wake up to reality they will never be blessed by the grace of the real Almighty God.For only then they will get out of poverty, illiteracy and ignorance.

Halouba Botanica is an excellent botanica, has variety of merchandise, anything from Haiti that you need you will find.
They have the biggest peristil that I have ever seen.
They run an educational walk thru once a month for student/visitor and it is free. That is how I discover them.
They sell books, potions, powders, african/haitian clothes.
Their number 305-751-7485 ask for Papa Paul.

I came across the article “Haiti Suffers In Spiritual Darkness” (Dec.
27, 2004) on Pat Robertson’s 700 club website.
http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/cwn/122404haiti1.a...
In it the author, George Thomas, informs us “many Haitians” believe Haiti’s myriad woes began 200 years ago (after the revolution) and are attributable to the voodoo practices of its revolutionary leaders.
Since 1804, according to Mr. Thomas’s sources, the Haitians have been living under a satanic curse.
If Haiti suffers under a curse surely it began not with their revolution from slavery but more than five hundred years ago when the Christian Europeans first set foot on the island with their god, their guns, and their greed.
In memory and in honor of all those who fought for freedom and whose blood has drenched Haiti’s soil throughout its history, I dedicate this Gallery to Pat Robertson, the 700 Club, and their ilk.
