Why Are We Still Relying On Other Nations To Help

We are a people like any other people.

The problems with us is education! We need to invest in Education for our next generation.

We need to know in other for a country to prosper, People in it has to be educated.

We have not! and no one has come up with that idea yet. We still on ( Koupe Tet Boule Kay) whenever something is not working! We need to educate our people upon when they destroy anything in they environment, they are destroying their future.

Please people stop staying bad things about America, start thinking about having leaders that has been educated in America to governs.

I'm not talking about someone from Haiti and that went to school in the US! I mean an Haitian American who is born, and have higher education in US. At least these people has done politics and have what you call (Compassion for Human Being)

Our problems is..

Our Leader never have compassion for their fellows Human Being! That is our problems!

you said everything that every haitian should know, i hope many will read what you wrote about relation between Haiti and the US. Actually it is a realationship it is more like Haiti is the prostitute and the US the John who come to take advantage of that prostitute, except in this case the john does not pay that prostitute.

I ask myself if those Haitian leaders have any pride or self respect?

how can theu let someone tell them what to do and when to do it even when they know it is in the best interest of their country?

we are not and should not be prisoners to the united states government, we should be able to have ties with any country we choose to have ties with. The US government have not done anything meanningful for Haiti, the promise alot but give almost nothing.

If they can't exploit a country, they do not care about that country.

it is time for Haiti and its leaders to realize that the time have come to make desicions for the betterment of Haiti not the US. We can live with out the US I hope we could cut all ties from the US, then i believe that we would prosper.

I totally agreee with your commments, Althought I love the US, Born Here but your roots bare what is important.

Haitian people are always talking about how much ameicans have helped our country.

But please show me how. Is it by chasing us away when we come here after days in an empty boat, while the cubans are allow to stay as long as they make it in land.

or By only refering to our beautiful country as the poorest country, showing only the "Ghettos'.

i belive we should accept help from Cuba. Yeah the president is a dictator but so was Papa Doe and we had a way better life, better country when he was there, and can youi honestly say that we have freedom now, We lost that a long time ago

Accepting help from him would not make him outr president, just a friend and an ally. We do not need Money, what we need is support and help which they are willing to provide .

Yes, we need help Any countries who want to help us, we should accept it without any problems.We are going to a crisis we need help in large varieties of commodities.We need water, roads electricity, hospitals,

schools and another airline carrier.Therefore Haiti should maintain a relationship with any coutries who really want to help.
